The new Youth and Child Outcomes Survey Report is now live!

The release of this new report marks the culmination of 13 months of work to revise the Youth Outcomes Survey and the Child Outcomes Survey and develop a new tool for reporting the results of these surveys. The National Office Program, Research, and IT teams thank all of the agency representatives that have been a part of this effort. Your work made this day possible!

The new Youth and Child Outcomes Survey Report can be found right alongside the existing YOS/COS Infographic on the National Reports tab in Matchforce. The Infographic will remain available for use for at least the next few months to allow for continuity of reporting. This said, agency staff are strongly encouraged to acquaint themselves with the changes to the new report and the shortcomings of the Infographic before deciding to continue with the old report or switch to the new one. A summary of the differences between the two reports can be found here.

Multiple training videos are available to help you become familiar with the Youth and Child Outcomes Survey Report. Here is a summary of these resources:

  • A video illustrating the basic functionality (panes, filters, etc.) of the new report can be found here.
  • A video explaining how to export data using the Youth and Child Outcomes Survey Report – Raw Data can be found here.
  • An introductory video discussing the basic statistics used in the new report can be found here.
